How much weight will I lose?
Weight loss can vary from person to person, but most of our clients lose an average of 250-300 grams per day.
Why do I need the drops? Can’t I just eat less?
A low-calorie diet will certainly help you lose weight. But the drops also curb your appetite, improve your mood, burn stubborn fat, and set you up with healthy eating habits for life.
What if I get cravings?
Food addiction is very real – but a few days of drops will stabilise your appetite and curb the desire for gluten, sugar, and alcohol consumption. Once these substances are flushed from your system, you won’t even miss them.
What if I’m vegetarian or vegan?
No problem! You can still follow the weight loss program, even if you don’t eat meat or animal products. We’ve included a few protein substitutes just for you.
I’m lactose intolerant. Can I still do the program?
Yes! We always offer alternative nutrient sources to cater for food allergies and intolerances.
Will I get hungry?
Sometimes the first few days can be challenging as your body adjusts to eating fewer calories. But once the drops start mobilising your fat stores, you’ll have instant natural appetite control.
When’s the best time to start the diet?
Choose a time when you won’t be interrupted by social events or engagements where you may be tempted to indulge.
Will the drops interfere with my current medications?
There are no contraindications with commonly prescribed medications for chronic medical conditions.
Should I stop my medication while I am on the program?
You should never stop your medications unless advised by a competent medical professional.
How do the weight loss drops affect cholesterol levels?
Cholesterol levels will naturally fluctuate. But most of our clients find their levels improve according to the standard medical scale.
Will the drops help my high blood pressure?
Many of our clients experience decreased blood pressure readings during the program.
Can I continue using antidepressants if I do the Man Drops program?
Yes. Both are perfectly safe to take with one another.
Can I continue using anxiety medication when following the program?
Yes. The drops will not interfere with your medication.
Should I stop taking my thyroid medication while on the Man Drops program?
Never stop taking any prescription drugs without seeking medical advice.
However, we recommend taking your thyroid meds first thing in the morning, allowing at least one hour before using your drops.
Can I still take my vitamins while on the drops?
While low-quality vitamins may interfere with your weight loss (due to synthetic nutrients or hidden sugars/oils), we do encourage certain support products. These include digestive enzymes, probiotics, and B group vitamins.
Is it ok to use grooming products?
You can still maintain your daily grooming routine as long as you use products that are completely oil-free. The only exception is 100% jojoba oil. Being a wax ester, it won’t interfere with your weight loss goals.
Can I use frozen veggies instead of fresh produce?
You sure can. If it’s more convenient to use frozen products, then it’s ok by us. The reason we prefer fresh organic veggies is because they help to detox your system.
If I can’t have sugar, are sweeteners ok to use?
Yes, they are. We recommend herbal sweeteners like Stevia or Xylitol.
Can I drink alcohol on the program?
The short answer – no. Especially during Phase 2 when your body is working its hardest to flush toxins and burn fat stores.
Oh no – I cheated! What do I do now?
Straying from the strict program guidelines can certainly set you back. But don’t stress. Just jump right back on that saddle asap and you should start to see your weight dropping again after a couple of days.
What if I don’t like skipping breakfast?
While research suggests that skipping breakfast provides the most efficient weight loss success, we get that some people simply love their brekkie. If that’s the case, you can shuffle things around and eat one of your snacks for breakfast or go on to the 750-800 calorie plan.
What should I eat during the loading phase?
Your goal is to eat as many fat grams (preferably the healthy kind) as possible. This will load your system with energy to get you through the next calorie-controlled phase. So, you should aim for at least 250 grams of fat each day, remembering to focus on fat, not sugar or starch. You can read more about this in the program information pack.
Can I extend my 23-day program?
Of course! If you’re doing well and feel you could keep going, simply continue with Phase 2 for up to 40 days.
Can I still go out in the sun while taking the drops?
You sure can. But it’s important to stay sun-smart. So, make sure you apply tanning lotion that’s 100% oil-free, otherwise, it’ll disrupt the fat burning process.
